Hats by Tonya Gross Millinery

In 2005, Tonya left a career in the hedge fund industry to launch Tonya Gross Millinery, a full service hat design and production company. Her hats have been seen on the runway for fashion weeks in New York and Chicago; on the stage for the Goodman Theater and Redmoon Theater; in news publications Chicago Magazine, Chicago Woman, Chicago Sun-Times, Chicago Tribune, Bloomberg and the Wall Street Journal; and on television programs the Real Housewives of New Jersey and Oprah.

Tonya is an award-winning headwear designer and operates Tonya Gross Millinery, MAD for events by Shop Small Chicago, and Shop Small Chicago at the Chicago Riverwalk. We are a woman-owned business supporting and promoting other woman-owned brands.

Tonya is the former director for fashion and culinary programs for the City of Chicago’s Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, responsible for producing programs that support entrepreneurial development, including Fashion Focus Chicago, City of Chicago’s Fashion Week and Chicago Farmers Markets.
